MES-Powered Industrial Operations Platform in Taiwan

AI Summary

Critical Manufacturing, the company behind the MES-powered Industrial Operations Platform that combines implementation, connectivity, and analytics as well asย trusted AI, has expandedย into Taiwan.

The expansion underscores the commitment of Critical Manufacturing to Taiwan and its broader growth throughout the Asia-Pacific region, in which sophisticated manufacturers are fast-tracking digitalisation to cope with ever more complex production demands.

Taiwan is central to the global supply chain when it comes to semiconductors and electronics, where manufacturers coordinate extremely specialised processes, exacting quality standards as well as quick production schedules throughout increasingly interconnected factories.

The MES-powered Industrial Operations Platform from Critical Manufacturing enablesย manufacturers to leap beyondย these obstacles by combining production execution, automation, analytics and trusted AI into oneย operational framework. The platform uses MES as its main part, allowing manufacturers to collect data right where it happens, link data from different systems and places, and turn it into useful information that helps them make faster and more reliable decisions.

According to CEO and co-founder of Critical Manufacturing, Francisco Almada Lobo, โ€œTaiwan is a critical market for advanced manufacturing and a central part of the global semiconductor ecosystem.” Our presence here reflects both the strength of the customer base we already serve in the region and the importance of being close to a market with significant growth potential, where manufacturersโ€™ operations demand high levels of precision, agility, and control. With a dedicated local entity, we are better positioned to support our existing customers and help more manufacturers scale complex operations and move towards more intelligent production environments.โ€

Neil Chen, Managing Director of Critical Manufacturing in Taiwan, is in charge of the operations. Chen happens to have broad experience of MES technology from Critical Manufacturing, having worked with the company within consulting, software engineering, customer training, and system design as well asย MES customisation. He is also based in Taiwan and has worked for InfoFab and OSE in the past, so he has a good feel for the manufacturing technology landscape of the region.

“I am honoured to lead Critical Manufacturing in Taiwan as we take this important step in the market. For our customers, the value of MES is not only in the technology itself but also in how well it is implemented, adapted, and supported to future-proof their day-to-day operations. Our focus will be to bring that expertise closer to manufacturers in Taiwan and help them get greater value from their digital manufacturing investments.โ€

The fact is that this strategic expansion allows Critical Manufacturing to further position itself as a techย partner to manufacturing organisations at the cutting edge of advanced industries. The local entity is going to helpย customers to turn MES capabilities into tangible enhancements in complex, high-end manufacturing environments.
