A world leader in intelligent energy and climate solutions, Carrier Global Corporation, announced on October 22, 2026, that it plans to invest over $600 million in the next three years in a new advanced manufacturing and engineering center located in Fort Worth, Texas.
Carrier has gone ahead and transformed its commercial HVAC business, including record levels of backlog and a strong and rising pipeline throughout many key verticals. The new advanced site reflects the confidence of Carrier when it comes to growth in this business and continues its commitment toward domestic manufacturing as the largest U.S.-headquartered company that operates in its industry.

The investment reinforces commercial momentum of Carrier, expanding the U.S. manufacturing capacity of the company as far as advanced thermal management systems are concerned, including air- and water-cooled commercial chillers, and also helping customers address increasing demand when it comes to intelligent climate and energy solutions throughout data centers, industrial markets, healthcare, and education, as well as other key verticals.
Carrier is expected to start operations in a more than 1 million square foot facility in 2027. The investment will create 1,500 high-tech manufacturing, engineering, and various other jobs. The new Fort Worth facility is anticipated to pursue LEED® certification in alignment with the 2030 Sustainability and Impact Goals of Carrier.
